While I'm not a parent of a child with autism, I do have a family member who is autistic. Unfortunately, I didn't know a lot about autism which I felt bad enough...which is why I bought this book. This book provides down-to-earth explanations of what autism is, and how it can affect a person and how they communicate, act, etc. It has really helped me learn more about autism and I highly recommend it to anyone who knows someone with autism!
I just love this book. It's really a great book on Autism! Parents will just love this book. I am really enjoying it!
So far, so good with this one. I am mainly interested in Asperger's Syndrome so I didn't read about the other disorders but this part was very informative.
I am a parent new to ASD. This book explained things I need to know now and also has info I can refer back to when my toddler is older.
